Introduction

Successful people don’t just wait for things to happen. They believe in themselves, plan ahead, take action and then refine their plan until it gets, and keeps on getting the results they want. Research tells us that successful slimmers use a very similar approach. They don’t rely on quick-fixes or magic formulas, but glean information from reliable sources to develop a plan that suits their needs, tastes and lifestyle. 

Thinking of weight management as a lifelong challenge, which has an initial weight loss phase and then a weight maintenance phase, is also a route to success.

It may take a little time and a bit of experimenting to get the plan right. However, the time and effort spent is very worthwhile in order to not only lose the weight, but keep it off.
